RFID Journal Awards 2007
Showcasing the best uses of RFID technology
Entry Requirements
Any business, government agency or other end user organization (an organization that will buy and use, as opposed to sell, RFID products and services) worldwide is eligible to participate in the contest with the exception of companies from the following countries: Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan and Syria. RFID technology and service providers can submit on behalf of an end user company, but the end user company must be named and must agree to abide by the entry requirements, must agree to verify the facts and must be willing to provide additional materials, if requested by RFID Journal.
Employees of RFID Journal LLC are ineligible to participate in the contest, as are judges (and their affiliates) of the award.
The nominated implementations do not have to use RFID technology based on air-interface protocol standards created by the International Organization for Standardization, EPCglobal and other standards bodies, such as the American National Standards Institute, but the judges will give additional weight to submissions that are based on open standards because these standards help promote adoption and benefit all companies.
Entries must be submitted electronicallyeither by completing the Entry Form on this site or by e-mailing an MS Word document to awards@rfidjournal.com. All entries must be completed and submitted no later than 5 pm EST on Jan. 30, 2007.
Each entry must be written in English.
All questions should be answered. The more detail you provide about your implementation and how it was done, the greater your chance of winning.
Once your final entry is completed online, a completed Participant Release Form (last page) must be faxed no later than 5 pm EST by Jan. 30, 2007, to 631-980-4314 with appropriate signatures.
Finalists will be vetted by RFID Journal for accuracy. Any company found to have submitted an entry form with false information will be disqualified.
Winning organizations should be prepared to provide RFID Journal with additional materials required for editorial or promotional purposes. Additional materials may include, but are not limited to, photographs and biographies of the company’s RFID project leader. Additionally, the winner should be available to participate in media interviews.
All decisions by the RFID Journal Awards judges are final.
