Entry Requirements

Any business, government agency or other end-user organization (one buying and using, as opposed to selling, RFID products and services), RFID technology provider or individual worldwide is eligible to participate in the RFID Journal Awards, with the exception of companies from the following countries: Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.

RFID technology and service providers can submit entries for Best RFID Implmentation, Best Use of RFID to Enhance a Product or Service, Most Innovative Use of RFID and the RFID Green Award on behalf of an end-user company, but the end-user company must be named and must agree to abide by entry requirements. It must also agree to verify the facts and be willing to provide additional materials, if so requested by RFID Journal. Best iNew Product submissions can only be made by companies exhibiting at RFID Journal LIVE! 2016.

Employees of RFID Journal LLC are ineligible to participate in the contest, as are judges (and their affiliates) of the award.

The nominated implementations need not be using RFID technology based on air-interface protocol standards created by the International Organization for Standardization, EPCglobal or other standards bodies, such as the American National Standards Institute.

Entries must be submitted electronically by e-mailing an MS Word document to awards@rfidjournal.com. All entries must be completed and submitted no later than midnight on Jan. 29, 2016.

Each entry must be written in English.

All questions on the entry form should be answered as fully as possible.  The more detail you provide about your implementation and how it was conducted, the greater your chance of winning. You can sumbit photos, PDFs and supporting materials.

Once your final entry is submitted, a completed and signed Participant Release Form (last page) must be faxed to 631-980-4314, no later than midnight on Jan. 29, 2016. For end user submissions, the end user must sign the release form.

Finalists will be vetted by RFID Journal for accuracy. Any company found to have submitted an entry form containing false information will be disqualified. RFID Journal reserves the right to reject any entry at its discretion.

Winning organizations should be prepared to provide RFID Journal with additional materials required for editorial or promotional purposes. Additional materials may include, but are not limited to, photographs and biographies of the company’s RFID project leader. Additionally, the winner should be available to participate in media interviews. RFID Journal will present the winners with their awards at RFID Journal LIVE! 2016, and winners should be available to attend that event as well.

All decisions by the RFID Journal Awards judges are final.
